- The physical treatment of dissolved oxygen in the water; which is the main cause of corrosion, is called "Deaeration", and the processing unit is called a "Deaerator"
- The solubility of oxygen in water is lower as the gas phase pressure, and the water temperature gets lower.
- The solubility of oxygen is lower as the water temperature gets higher at the same gas pressure.
- Reducing the amount of dissolved oxygen will prevent corrosion in the boiler water pipe.
This can prolong the service life, and reduce the fluctuation of the boiler water level by preheating the water supply.
As a result, deaerator can increase energy efficiency.
